She treated me with ample kindness and skill, knowing precisely when to push me and when to let me breathe—allowing me to feel supported and safe. As Hayley helped me prepare for my Shakespeare monologue, she encouraged me to retain my own interpretation of the text instead of simply telling me what to do.
