Introduction

As a Golden Globe nominee and a SAG-AFTRA actress for over 30 years, I love teaching and want to help other actors get roles. I have taught children, teens, and adults who are primarily beginners and intermediates. My goal is to help students be more confident with better acting techniques and learn skills that professional actors use. At 20 years old I went under contract to Universal Studios in LA and had the opportunity in working in many TV Shows and a running role in the TV series San Francisco International Airport, among others. You can check other credits in IMDB. In NY I studied at AMDA and HB Studios. My students have done national commercials, running roles on TV shows, movies, theater and one tv reporter. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would introduce myself and ask the student what she wants to work on and what are her goals? Are the classes to build confidence or pursue as a hobby or a career?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In high school i studied at Media Theater in Media, Pa and a summer program at Temple.I spent 2 years studying in NYC at the American Musical Dramatic Academy and H B Studios. In LA I studied with Ned Mandarino.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as a dancer and did ballets and musicals. In high school I was in plays did modeling. I was Miss Teenage Philadelphia and National High School Cover Girl in my senior year. The 2 pageants opened a lot of doors. I then studied acting for 2 years in NYC. At 20 years old i went under contract to Universal Studios and had the opportunity to work in various tv shows.
