Q: Do I have to be in or near Los Angeles?
A: No. No matter where you live, you can receive coaching via Skype, ZOOM or FaceTime.

Q: Do I need a microphone set-up?
A: Eventually, if you want to pursue voiceover. But it's not necessary
initially if your computer has a built-in microphone.
Q: Could I get coaching over the phone?
A: Yes! And the entire session is recorded for playback afterward.
Q: Can I get coaching in different areas of voiceover?
A: Yes. Commercials, narration, e-Learning, animation, audiobooks,
videogames, promos, trailers and more.
Q: Is there homework?
A: Absolutely! You can't progress unless you put in the practice. I
send you homework days in advance and expect my students to be prepared for each session.
Q: How long are the sessions? A: One solid hour.
Q: Can I schedule coaching sessions when I want them, not on a weekly schedule?
A: Yes! That's the beauty of phone or one-on-one coaching. You schedule sessions at your convenience.
Q: Could I schedule a session on a weekend day or evenings? A: Sometimes, depending on my schedule.
Q: What if I have to cancel at the last minute? Is there a cancellation fee?
A: No! If you have to cancel for any reason--family, work, life...just contact me ASAP (as soon as possible) and we'll re-schedule.
Q: So there's no cancellation fee?
A: Correct. Because I reserve the right to re-schedule at my end if I
need to at the last minute :). I am a working actor and sometimes need to do an audition or a VO job.
Q: Do you take anybody?
A: I work with anyone with an interest in voiceover who wants to
learn how to deliver copy or text effectively and competitively. Also if you have some issues like autism, for instance, or strong English speaking native accent or unfamiliarity with the English language, I ALSO TEACH ACCENT REDUCTION OR THE AMERICAN ACCENT.
Q: Is there an interview?
A: No. I just need to know your background in either VO, acting or dialects, so I can fashion a curriculum for you.
Q: How long does it take to be good enough to be professional?
A: That depends on many factors: training, demos, agents, dedication, doing your research with regard to the project or character and diligence to your
to the craft, luck and timing--variables that determine "how long." But if you've got a passion for voiceover, and learn to develop good skill-sets, you've got a shot.
Q: Do you ever turn anyone away?
A: If you're a nice/consistent student and want to learn I won't turn you away!
Q: Do you work with minors?
A: Yes indeed. I just want to discuss your career with your parents first please.
