FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts on packages of 5 and 10 sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start out with a 5 to 10 minute phone consultation, to assess my clients needs and acting goals. I then construct a personalized session, based on tools I use, to foster relaxation and to get my student to trust their instincts. We all have talent, often there are simply blocks or self-doubts in our way. My goal is to unlock what is already there and to have fun doing it. My aim is always to leave my students with real tools they can use at anytime. When they are nervous, stuck or in their head. All actors feel like imposters at times. The aim is to have tools at the ready to get you off of yourself (and the internal chatter) and into the story you are telling. And dare I say, be able to even use everything you’re feeling and put it right into the moment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied acting at Juilliard (grad student, graduated in 2008), I went to LaGuardia HS (the “Fame” school in NY), I studied in London and with top teachers in Los Angeles. I also have a BA in Psychology and I use what I understand about human behavior and the mind to better understand characters and what makes them tick. I enjoy teaching from this perspective as well.
