The receptionist had a bad attitude and could not answer the basic pricing questions that all of the other companies could answer.
All I wanted was my septic tank pumped. No more and no less.
At first she provided a flat rate cost of $325.00 to pump out a 1,000 gallon take up to 3 feet deep in the ground.
I proceeded to ask her if there were any additional fees that we could expect to hear about after arrival and she proceeded to say that the EPA recommends that the septic tank be inspected and cleaned every 3-5 years and if it hasn't been then the cost would be higher due to thicker waste.
I proceeded to tell her that my septic tank had not been pumped in 10 years and asked how much that fee would be. She stated that she couldn't tell me and that they would have to come out, dig it up and inspect it before providing a cost.
At that point I said ok, well how much will you charge to dig to the septic tank, inspect it, and provide me with a quote. She refused to answer that basic question and kept rambling about all kinds of other factors as if cleaning the septic tank is comparable to brain surgery.
It is only one pipe leading to a tank. Not that serious....
At that point I gave up on obtaining any useful information from this receptionist and hired another company.
Before contacting One Way Septic Solutions I had contacted 5 other companies to get quotes and the soonest availability and all of the other companies could either answer the basic questions with logical answers that included a cost or actually honor there "flat rate system".
I hired one of these companies and they completed the work for the same price that One Way Septic Service originally quoted although it had been 10 years since my septic tank was pumped.
To sum it up you do not have a flat 'rate system' if you cannot provide a flat rate. This company could not even provide a 'flat rate' for the inspection and quote.
Out of all of the companies I contacted I would say that One Way Septic Solutions were the most difficult to communicate with.
The receptionist was very abrasive and didn't seem very knowledgeable.

They pumped the septic tank and did a good job but be very careful with estimates they give you. I was told I needed $4300 worth of work on my system. When I asked them to email me the facts of what it needed and the price I never got an email which I thought was weird. They said the main line was bent from sludge being backed up in it for so long that it needed to be replaced and that the drain lines all needed to be replaced... Two other companies quoted me under that for brand new systems and it didn’t end up needing anything else done. The main line has been the way it is from the time the house was built and isn’t / hasn’t caused any problems. I was told by contractor there was no way sludge could have caused the main line to bend the way I was told it did.
So to pump your tank they do great but ALWAYS get someone else to come look before approving estimates.
Update: I have attached a copy of what was sent to me originally as she stated on the 30th. As you can see there were no notes or attachments. After posting the review I was sent a text to READ the invoice along with a new invoice that now has notes on it. I just suggest you proceed with caution when given an estimate and check around.
