Overcharged and didn't complete the job when bidding on remodel..considers finishing hooking up plumbing extra after paying.. Make sure you get itemized quote for everything with this guy.

Gold Star’s responsiveness to my request for an estimate for our failing/backed up plumbing lines, was quite impressive! Tony even offered to come out the same day, if it worked for our schedule! Tony showed up promptly at the stated time and was very helpful & informative :) It ended up being our washing machine pump that had gone out so he gave me a recommendation of where to purchase another washing machine. I went to the place he recommended yesterday and they were fantastic just like he said!

Tony came out 1st to figure out where my leak was & give me an estimate to complete the job, set up tentative Friday date. Charge was $125.
He did a fantastic job & stated he would be the one to return to complete the job.
He helped me look online for a Tankless Hot water heater & I ordered the heater.
The estimated Cost was $495 to hang a tankless heater to camper wall, hook up water hose, output hose & a propane line, like on a grill.
I was told to contact the owner when I received the water heater. I texted owner the minute it came on Friday morning. Ask if Tony would/could complete job that afternoon. NO RESPONSE from owner.
I contacted company owner again. Owner Stated they had been really busy.
I was told I missed my appointment time, which no time was ever set/established for Friday on the estimate papers, but did notify him I had Heater.
I was told that the company did not hook up gas line from propane to tankless heater & I would need to hire someone else to do that. Without hooking up Propane how would we know if the system worked after pay $495. (odd as it was a matter of screwing gas line from propane tank to heater like hooking up a grill, which Tony had known & stated he would be hooking it up when he returned.)
My neighbor stopped by & offered to hook up the Tankless water heater. Hung it on Camper, hooked up the water in hose, the water output hose & the propane tank all in 1 hour.
I now have constant hot water & I saved the estimated $495.
I contacted the owner to let him Know his services were no longer needed.
Would I recommend 5 Star Plumbing?
I would recommend The Tech guy Tony but can't say I would the company as a whole.
