Dyce was awesome for a first guitarlesson. Most importantly he did a great job simplifying the experience while making it FUN. Very excited to take another lesson with him this week!

I owned a guitar for years and played some basic cords but never took it to the next level. Ive been taking lessons with Dyce for about a month now and I'm already noticing a whole new world of progression and potential. He is an incredible guitar instructor and I highly recommend him

Dan is a great guitar teacher. He teaches both my son (8 yrs) and myself (35+) with patience and a positive atmosphere. Perfect communication and well-structured lessons. Highly recommended!

Christopher has been teaching guitar to my son and he has come a long way in a very short time. He is an excellent teacher, he has a very calm demeanor, and a lot of patience. Zach really enjoys his lessons. Christopher has never cancelled a lesson and always is on time. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dan is a good guitar player. He knows his stuff well. I’ve had 3 or 4 lessons with him. First lesson he was about 45 minutes late, but the next lessons he was only about 10 minutes late so I let it slide no problem. He does a lot of things to make the time go by faster for himself which I dislike (playing music videos on his phone that has nothing to do with guitar, going through papers as if he wasn’t prepared for our lesson) I did buy a tuner off him our first lesson and he tunes my guitars for me before our lesson, but this past time my tuner disappeared and I figured he accidentally took it with him. No big deal mistakes happen, but when asking for it back he got all defensive that he didn’t take it even though I knew it was just an accident. The tuner was definitely something I needed, but he is also very pushy on buying other things that I do not need or already have.
We had a lesson today at 6pm and he texted me at 5:02 pm (48 minutes before my lesson?!) that his car was getting fixed and had to cancel.
But if I was to cancel it has to be 24 hours before or I get charged a fee?? Hmmm.
He texts me again 10 minutes later that he can come at 6 and his car is fixed now. I’m already frustrated at this point about my tuner and the such short notice on cancellation that I tell him not to come.
I also read a previous review that he asked someone what they do for a living 5 minutes after entering their home and he did the same with me first lesson before we even sat down to play.
Great guitar player, not a good teacher.

I just finished my first lesson with Micheal this past weekend and I have to say I was very impressed with his knowledge of the guitar, music and music pedagogy as a whole. Micheal’s approach was very focused - I felt like I gained more insight into my technique in one lessor than I did in a month with other instructors, and I definitely am looking forward to future lessons with him.

I’ve been working with Steve for about 3 weeks now. I had no real practical knowledge about the guitar before and I few i have learned so much in a short period of time. Steve is super talented and patient and understands what type of music I am interested in (blues and rock) so his lessons always tie back into these styles. I’m looking forward to learning more!

I have been studying classical guitar with Dan now for a little over a month. He is clearly a dedicated guitarist with a genuine interest in teaching. What I really appreciate is that he has a plan. The lessons don't (like many other teachers) simply involve the teacher coming up with a song in the spur of the moment and telling you to go and practice it for next time. Instead Dan has a planned program and materials to go with it for studying and advancing. He spends the lessons helping you to improve your technique and pointing out areas of improvement. I want to really be the best musician I can be and I feel that Dan's approach will really help me reach my potential. I strongly recommend Dan, if you are serious about wanting to learn.
