He responded immediately after I inquired, came the same day to provide a quote and had the shower installed 4 days later. He offers very good prices and provided quality work. We are very happy with the final installation and would highly recommend him to friends and family and will call him for future projects.

MECA's "Plumber" completed a shower pan replacement with an unqualified new hire, which I am told was hired and fired the same day as my job, while the owner was out of town. This install was destructive to the property and the materials, as you can see from the pics. The pan looks as if it was installed by a 7 year old, and is unable to be tiled around and will require a completed re-do. We did give the owner a chance to return and correct the repairs, but not surprisingly, he was a no-show, no-call. Further, there is no license listed on myfloridalicense.com, for either the owner, Nathan Cass, or MECA Drains & Plumbing, so this Thumbtack listing indicating MECA is a licensed contractor appears to be false and we will be filing a complaint for Unlicensed Activity. As a licensed contractor myself, I can attest that there is no place for a "contractor" like this in the market, and Thumbtack is not doing the public any favors by supporting his business, despite the revenue MECA may provide.
