Ducts and Such were very knowledgeable about duct cleaning. Altho in our home we have a boiler for radiator heat and a split system for a/c. That was not a problem for them. The machinery for the a/c is in the attic distributing the cool air via 2 main ducts with ducts going to 2 levels below. We have had 3 different a/c units installed over 37 years and never had the ducts cleaned. What a mess! I will have Ducts and Such clean our ducts every 2 years.

After starting with the duct cleaning, Leo recommended that we both sanitize the ducts and clean the furnace as well, which would cost an additional $250 and $140 respectively. Lowe's had initially quoted us a similar price for duct cleaning ($250) and included sanitization complimentary so I was skeptical as to why sanitization alone would double the cost of the cleaning. After some explanation as to the differences in chemicals they used, Leo agreed to throw in the furnace cleaning for free if we paid the additional cost for sanitization. While I was grateful for the discount, I still felt a little taken advantage of. They also didn't clean up after themselves very well, and installed one of the vent covers in such a way that I couldn't open or close it.

I would highly recommend Tim. I had a bad experience with Sears, where I was promised one price but the worker came and tried to sell me all these additions which brought my simple duct cleaning to close to $1 000. Tim was professional, explained the duct cleaning process and encouraged observance of his work. The price was greats as well.

Integrity Duct and HVAC Cleaning is excellent. If you haven't cleaned your air ducts in a few years, or have renters, smokers, pets, allergies, etc, I highly recommend you do it. They came out and in 60-90 minutes, cleaned out all my air ducts, and then sanitized/deodorized them for an extremely reasonable price (I have a 1 br condo). I learned my kitchen vent had grease accumulated in the walls (they eliminated), the bathroom air was stuck, and the rest were generally just filthy. My unit smells great now and I am thrilled to know I have not only cleaner air, but it is more efficiently going through my home without blockages.
