I have been taking lessons over FaceTime with Alex for the past few months. At first, I was worried that FaceTime lessons would be ineffective — but I am SO glad that I gave it a shot! My growth has been exponential since working with him! Alex’s teaching style is unique, engaging, and exciting. Instead of growing bored, I’ve fallen in love with developing a foundation that will aid me in becoming the badass drummer I aim to be. Alex has done a great job understanding and sharing my vision for where I’d like to take my drumming and showing me what the work to do that looks like — all while having FUN! We have even been able to work on hand technique from afar — the distance really has not become a barrier to my progress thus far.
