We hired Galvan Remodeling to finish our basement with two conforming bedrooms and a 3/4 bathroom with a double vanity. We were very happy with the results and found that Jose and his crew were very fast and courteous. They even moved all of their tools and supplies through the basement window so they didn't make a mess in the rest of the house! Jose was always making sure throughout the build that we were happy with the progress. Galvan Remodeling finished the build on time and in budget! We would definitely hire Galvan Remodeling again!

Hired Ray and CRM to do a small front porch project and basement project. Ray quoted us a three day job that ended up taking three and a half months. He also required a 50% deposit up front and didn't commence work on the projects until several weeks later after several emails asking for updates on when he'd start the work. It'd be one thing if the work was high quality but it was very average and very delayed and required constant project management on our part. Expectations were set way too high and deadlines were constantly missed and Ray was extremely patronizing all along the way. We do not recommend this company.

Overall, Rory is a nice guy and decent communicator. However, he left the job without a final walk through. Just left and I had to text him if he was done, after which he said that he was. Areas of the drywall were untapped, not mudded, and simply not constructed. The paint crew that came in had to completely sand down the walls (it was not paint ready, despite him saying it would be) and fix dozens of drywall defects. There were missing corner protectors and corners that were bent and sharp. I could tell the second crew was having a hard time reconciling how amateur the job was and was hesitant to even agree to bid out the work. I’ve since had to pay quite a lot to a new GC to remedy everything. It was a difficult basement space (very asymmetrical and non-standard) and giving him the benefit of the doubt, I think that could have played a role in it. But honestly, it felt like he cut serious corners to get this project done.
