Our experience with Sammy, Jose, and Ramalda was FANTASTIC! The entire Archuleta team was professional and did excellent work from the initial contact of getting an estimate to completing the week-long project. We contracted with Archuleta Drywall to remove popcorn ceilings from our main floor, which has 20-plus foot vaulted ceilings, our vaulted stairwell, and 3 bedrooms upstairs. It was a hard job! They handled it with grace and expertise. The ceilings look amazing! They handled my home with great care and were easy to work with. I would highly recommend them. At the end of the week, they cleaned up and were very easy to work with! Removing popcorn ceilings is an extremely dirty and dusty job. They made great efforts to tape off with plastic to protect our carpets and hardwood floors and help contain the mess. I can not say enough positive things about the Archuleta team!

Sammy did an excellent job on our upstairs bedrooms, hallway, and stairwell. Our house was built in 1977 and had chair rails everywhere, yellowed paint, popcorn ceilings and ceiling fans. Sammy removed the popcorn, patched holes from 40 years of picture hanging, smoothed the remnants of the chair rails, patched holes from the old lighting fixtures, textured and painted. Our space looks fresh and clean! We still need to have floors and baseboard added, but Sammy did his part of the construction process very well. He was on time every day and made sure we were happy with the results. Sammy and his family are kind, respectful and hard working; I will have him back to finish the rest of my house soon!

Luis and his crew are great! They communicate well. They show up on time or give you plenty of notice if they are running behind. They answer your questions and never pushy. They are super fast, they definitely know what they are doing, everyone on his crew knows what their tasks is and they get it done. They do their best to clean up at the end of the day, but its popcorn removal so you will have to clean after the job is done unless you like chalk. They did such a great job, I also hired them to paint which they did exceptional! Highly recommend!!

We had Sammy out in August to remove popcorn ceiling, retexture and repaint the ceiling throughout our 2700 sq. ft. home. The entire process, quote to project completion, was seamless. Sammy is truly a master of his trade and worth every cent; FYI, he was the lowest bid and provided an estimate the same day he was contacted. Furthermore, I had a couple of items that needed touch up, my fault by the way, and Sammy did not hesitate to fix. Strongly recommend his services, I will be sure to use him for future projects.

Very sloppy work, and not willing to make it right! I hired Diego to remove popcorn ceilings (which he did), but they made an absolute mess of my house in the process. I told Diego that the carpet was going to be replaced so he didn't have to use drop cloths (I expected the floor to be messy, so this was OK). However, I found that they were scraping and sanding the ceilings above my new kitchen appliances without covering them! They eventually covered them (and the ceiling fan) but only after I commented.
Now to the walls and ceiling texturing. Apparently covering the walls is "extra". What. A. Mess. The ceiling texture was oversprayed all over the walls with varying thickness in different areas. There was no way it was going to blend to the wall texture when re-painted. I spent a full week cleaning all of the walls so that they can be painted.
In addition to the mess, there are several spots where drywall seams are visible and raised (improperly mudded/sanded/textured), and pieces of drywall tape is sticking through the new texture. Totally unacceptable! I have had to fix these areas myself.
On the ceiling in my family room, they had a difficult time getting the popcorn off, so they had to put a layer of mud over the whole ceiling and then sand it, then do a second coat and sand it again. However, I don't think they did the second coat because it turned out horrible! Tons of track marks and scrapes from their trowels, didn't cover up a visible seam that we had talked about, divots and indentations all over the place. This ceiling needs to be re-done.
When the job was "finished" Diego was in a hurry to get out of there, and I didn't see the state of the place until after he had left. I sent him a message expressing my dissatisfaction with his work, and asked him if he was willing to make it right. He never responded.
For the $2K I paid for this work, I am not happy with the result. If you are looking for drywall work, look elsewhere! This work was sloppy, sloppy, sloppy!
