GARDEN / HOME
Maintenance weeding, pruning, grooming. All electric or hand tools. I don't have a truck so I can't do haul away. Basically, housekeeping for your garden, hardscapes and pots decorative pots! Detail oriented and good at working with people who care about their gardens, or even garden themselves and need the extra help.
I have 1.5 years experience as a residential gardener and grew up farming, and have taken classes in pruning and soil science.
My housekeeping work has ranged from a multi family home that was rather finicky, to stopping by and doing just the dishes twice a week. Sometimes this has merged into elder care: there was an old lady who needed some company and sandwiches. I am open to whatever makes sense time/cost wise.
ADMIN / PERSONAL ASSISSTANT / HOUSE SITTING
I have done a fair amount of file organization, work documentation, etc. I have also done database building for non profits and worked at a tax office. I’m familiar with most creative and office software.
My background is in art, and in the course of fabricating/restoring art for people I ended up doing a lot of organization, from arranging international shipping and crating to photographers, fulfillment, project tracking, billing, etc.
I have all the skills necessary to water plants and feed cats. Open to house sitting gigs! References upon request.
RESTORATION / REPAIR
Technically I’m an artist by trade, but yes, I’ve done a lot of jobs and
acquired so many other skills while art-ing. My mfa was in sculpture, and I worked as a 3D art restoration tech. I can fill and match most surfaces from wood, ceramic, plaster, plastic, even some glass and metal. I can repair or refinish furniture and frames, as well as various cloth and fabric/clothing. Do you want the moth holes in your sweater embroidered to look like flowers? Does the two hundred year old oval frame that's totally irreplaceable have molding missing? Welp, today is your lucky day!
