Abbas T. says, "Jeff Dewine is superb, you are a lucky if you can work with him. He gave private guitar lessons to my two boys and myself and he was phenomenal. My kids are 7 and 10 and I am in my fifties, all starting from absolute zero. He had to teach three different styles, but he is made for this. He is extremely patient with the kids and always encouraging, and he is quick to adapt his teaching method and language to the student. He is an accomplished musician and I know that I am a pretty slow student, but he never makes me feel dumb or guilty. He always finds something you are doing right, and builds on that. He is also very responsive and generous with his time and he goes above and beyond to make sure you get the help that you need, even outside of his teaching schedule. He responded promptly to my inquiry, listened to my requests, and made some creative suggestions I would never have thought of that elevated the entire experience. On the day of the event, Jon arrived on time & had everything set up & ready to perform as the guests arrived. Jon’s knowledge of all eras & genres of music was mind-boggling (we requested covers from 1973-1974). I provide a list of a few songs that were important to my parents, but in addition, Jon took requests from the guests! He is an amazing vocalist, and his guitar playing was absolutely incredible! His experience as a touring musician w/chart topping artists for many years was definitely on display. He also DJ’d the second half of our party & had everybody up and dancing the entire night!
