Dale G. says, "I began taking Guitar lessons with Jeff Brent in April 2022. I am 76 and figured there was no way for me to learn the Guitar. Most of my experience was trying self taught. Didn't work, only picked up bad habits. Heard about Thumbtack, figured I would give it a shot. There were several instructors to choose from. I choose Jeff because of his introduction "Learn Music From a Pro". That he is "A Pro". Jeff makes lessons interesting and easy to follow. He is patient, always on time. There were several times I was unable to attend a session and he made sure I could make up my time. I found Jeff to be very patient, Professional with his student's. He has the knowledge, ability and desire to pass on to his students. I'm truly grate full I choose Jeff Brent. He, without a doubt is a "Pro" and enjoys what he does. If I were to choose a instructor again, I would certainly pick him. Thank you."See more

When I started lessons with Jeff Pifher I had the goal of starting to understand methods for taking my playing to the next level. During our first lesson, Jeff focused on practice techniques to work on specific things including articulation and timing. These exercises have become a part of my daily practice and after 4 weeks it has made a huge difference. After my most recent gig I got two “over and beyond” ratings from my coworkers in the entertainment company I work with and that shows the improvement I have made since starting lessons with Jeff. The homework etudes Jeff has composed for me have become a permanent staple in my iPad for finishing up practice sessions. Although difficult, these etudes are well written and make sense under the fingers. This is another example of an invaluable tool Jeff has brought to the table!"See more
