We hired Meeta to photograph our engagement ceremony. She was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Right from the start when we reached out to her on Thumbtack she was very responsive. On the day of the event she arrived on time and was able to capture all the important moments in our event.
She had informed us ahead that it would take 4-5 days for us to get the photos and she delivered on that as well.
The photos she took were amazing and blew past our expectations. The candid photos of our friends were a hit. I would definitely hire her for other events

Received the pictures of my son’s engagement party today. They were beautiful. I teared up. I highly recommend Jazmin for your event. She was able to capture intimate moments between the couple and fun shots of the event. And most importantly for me. The people of color were photographed as beautifully as the none people of color. That’s hard to do outside with a mixed group.

Irina was SUPERB!!!! Each and every person in the event LOVED her... including our son, who celebrated his 1st birthday. She was so polite and did her absolute best in getting the right photos for us. She gave attention to detail and made us sooo comfortable. She had a lot of creative ideas and we just loved having her there with us! I will recommend Irina to EVERYONE!!!!! She is truly the BEST photographer and so talented too!!!! Thank you Irina!!!!! Meeta is very professional and easy to work with. She was very responsive before and after the photo shoot. She came in early to the venue to scout for prospective locations and supported us and the guests in getting into the right frames for her pictures. Meeta took lots of candid shots and captured the most out of the event. She also generously edited pictures post the event. We are happy with her and highly recommend!!

Shelby was nothing short of amazing. We hired her to photograph our engagement party, which turned out to be several hours long. From the beginning she was highly responsive and called us to understand what kind of feel we wanted her to create with her pictures. On the day of the event Shelby showed up early and met with us to again confirm what we were looking for and grab some awesome couple-only pictures of us before the chaos of the party stole us away. Overall she did a magnificent job; we loved working with her, the guests all said good things about her, and she captured some really great moments. My fiancé and I would definitely recommend her for your photography needs!

My husband and I hired Livingson/Piksfactory to photograph and take videos of our wedding. I have included many details in this review because I believe it gives the most accurate representation of our experience.
Things Livingson did well:
-He was punctual, even early to all of the events
-He was personable and made us feel comfortable while taking pictures
-He made sure we got all the poses we wanted and let us come up with ideas for some of the shots
-Over 500 pictures were edited and sent to us within a reasonable amount of time and they turned out beautiful
-He was willing to be flexible and work with me so that I was happy with the final products
-He is obviously knowledgable about and experienced with photography.
-The price he charged for both videography and photography for the whole day was the most affordable price I could find for the quality of the pictures
Things that could use improvement:
-Blocking the enjoyment of the wedding guests. There were several times during the reception that guests complained about having a hard time seeing us cutting the cake, dancing, etc. because the Piksfactory team was always right in the middle of everything. I am not a photographer, and we did get some great pictures because of how close they were to us, but I think there could have been a better way to take pictures without ruining the enjoyment of the guests (who ultimately are there to see two people they love celebrate their marriage and not the backside of a group of photographers).
-The biggest thing I had a problem with was Piksfactory’s professionalism, and there are several reasons why I was unimpressed.
Livingson was always very kind and polite to me (because I was his customer), but I was very disappointed to learn that my wedding planner felt like he had been rude to her and the wedding staff. I believe it is important to be professional and courteous to EVERYONE you associate with on a job, not just the people that are paying you.
Livingson also had me spread the train of my wedding dress out on a muddy, grassy area to take pictures, and then when it inevitably got dirty he had me put the muddy part of my train in a FOUNTAIN to clean it off.
Then, he was angry at my wedding planner because the DJ and my husband and I were late to our reception. The reason we were late was because we were trying to wash out my muddy dress at the DJ’s house. My mom handmade that dress and spent months slaving over it to make it exactly what I wanted. THANKFULLY my dress was washable and we could get the mud out, but had it not been, my dress could have been ruined forever due to an oversight on the photographer’s part.
Finally, I felt taken advantage of when I was presented with my wedding video. There was a miscommunication about what I had envisioned for the video, and Livingson apologized and agreed to re-edit it so that it was what I wanted. The “fixed” video he sent me was along the lines of what I had imagined it to be, however there were a few basic editing mistakes left in (i.e. weird audio cuts). I mentioned the audio cut and he told me that it was because the mic cut out during the speech the audio clip was from, and it was “basically blended” and wouldn’t be noticeable. After I asked for that entire portion to be removed so that the video flowed better, he sent me a final version of the video with the full audio clip, including the part that had supposedly been “lost” due to the mic cutting out, correctly integrated into the videography.
The second attempt at the video felt perfunctory and incomplete, like he told me the mic cut out just because he didn’t want to take the time to fix it.
I was happy with the final product, but I felt lied to before I got what I wanted. I was disappointed that Piksfactory was okay with giving me a half-edited wedding video until I asked for it to be improved.
Overall, I was pleased with the pictures and video we received, but I was disappointed with the way a lot of it was handled and the stress I felt. It seems like this may be the first time Piksfactory has ever done a full day of wedding pictures/videography, and if that is the case, it may be a lack of experience.
I sincerely hope that the feedback I have provided helps future Piksfactory customers receive better service and respect.
