MapPhotoz was my photographer for my engagement and the first photographer I ever hired in my life! He was very flexible on time, sharing photos, and was very communicative to me and my family and friends! He knew what he was doing and even recommended me some poses that I did not mention to him that turned out great! He also took his time in editing people not part of my engagement and harsh lightning! I would highly recommend him and it was great working with him! 🫶🏻

Elly was very easy to work with. She delivered what we asked for and exceeded our expectations in accommodating our requests. I asked her if she can provide me with 1 edited photo 1 day after our engagement shoot for our ‘save the dates’ and she went above & beyond and gave me 3 photos! Elly is very creative & was able to take a lot of good shots for an hour. Unfortunately, the ocean engulfed one of her shoes, but that didn’t stop her from continuing our photoshoot. Very professional to work with! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Johnny! He messaged me right away after I contacted him through this app, and then we were on the phone working out the details almost immediately. I asked him to take our family photos while we were in CA, as well as a surprise engagement proposal for my daughter, incorporated into the family pics. I contacted him in Oct 2024 for the pictures to be taken right after Christmas. He was very communicative right up until we had the photo session. He suggested we have the photos taken at Inspiration Point in Coronado Del Mar (Newport Beach ) because the weather tends to be consistently better there. Johnny was very punctual and gave us plenty of time for all the photos. We didn’t feel rushed. He sent us the pictures and we love ALL of them! They are so beautiful and we are so happy with how they all turned out. I highly recommend Johnny for his professionalism, work ethic, and gorgeous photography!

Jacob was a pleasure to work with since we first inquired and through the engagement shoot. He was very responsive, professional and accommodating to try and understand our vision for the photo session. One thing that makes Jacob stand out from many other professionals is that he truly cares about sharing a story through his work which means he gets to know the couple even in the short amount of time spent during the photo session and tries to have the photos truly capture the moment and the personalities. As a wedding planner, I wanted to select a photographer who was able to share meaningful and thoughtful photos beyond the beautiful surrounding or posed couple pictures. Jacob did just that. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, we had a good time with him on the photo shoot, and he emphasized us being present in the moment and enjoying the time spent together!
I’m so thankful we chose Jacob as our photographer and we were so happy with the outcome. Our friends and family all agreed that the pictures were so authentic and truly captured who we were while also being so artistic, editorial, and cinematic. Thank you Jacob for helping us make our civil marriage day so extremely special and capturing these beautiful moments! We can’t wait to work with you again for our future milestones!
