I hired Amina for our 5th anniversary photo shoot, and she was fantastic! Super professional and patient, Amina helped us with outfit choices and gave valuable suggestions. She was very responsive to emails and messages. On the shoot day, working with her and her husband was amazing—they made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Amina is fantastic! My husband and I think of ourselves as awkward in photos but Amina's talent really brought out our best selves. We booked her for our engagement photos in Manhattan Beach. Prices are different and may vary, depending on assignment since they're all so unique. I have fixed photo packages, and sometimes customized.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually ask about their vision and the ideas, to make sure that we understand each other. My goal is to emphasize their vision and bring it to life through my lens.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I got my photography degree from Glendale College in 2014. Before that, I had always been taking pictures, but more so as a hobby. I also have previous experience as a model, which I later realized was a great asset to help me understand and communicate with the people that I'm photographing.
