Jordan is a true pro! She was the photographer for a wedding celebration (that I was the coordinator for) and her photos came out beautiful! She was pleasant to work with and post-production delivery was fast. The couple is very happy with her work!

Shelby was amazing! She was incredibly responsive, arrived early, captured wonderful photos and even gave me a preview of a few photos the next day. She had the full album ready a couple days later fully edited!

I’ve heard of horse whisperers and dog whisperers. Brian is like a “whisperer of engaged couples.” He makes you feel super comfortable and has great ideas to bring out the best in you as a couple. We got 900 photos and basically all of them are amazing. Thanks so much Brian!

Sheila has been a pleasure to work with. She is personable, friendly, professional and delivers great quality photos! She has photographed our bridal shower event, maternity shoot and will photograph our upcoming newborn as well. She has been very flexible and accommodating...we even rescheduled a shoot a couple times since the weather wasn’t that good and she wanted to make sure we got great pictures. Overall a great experience and would recommend booking!

Working with Usman on our wedding day was a enjoyable and stress-free experience. Being an experience photographer for marrying couples at SF City Hall, he did an excellent job leading us and telling us about what shots worked best. Usman was very accomodating and fun to work with. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who is talented, a professional, and all-around nice person!

We hired Milan to do wedding and reception photos for my brother’s wedding. Right from booking, to the date of the event, he was very responsive and punctual. He even gave us ideas of the photoshoot and suggested some amazing poses for the couple. The photos came out excellent. He was flexible enough to accommodate some time changes in the schedule and agreed to do a pending photoshoot later due to rains. Would definitely recommend him for any events.

Brittani drove from San Jose to North San Francisco to capture our proposal in secret. This is after not having met either of us in person at all and with just a couple messages back and forth between us (granted we did have a contract and all..). She even said she was stopping in the city a couple days after first contacting her and scoped out my chosen location even further!
The photos turned out way better than I could’ve ever expected, even with her fabulous gallery. She turned around the photos within 48 hours and we are extremely satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Bay Area!

Working with Andrea on our engagement shoot was a lot of fun! Andrea responded to messages quickly and communicated clearly every step of the way. My fiancé and I arrived at the shoot location late and Andrea worked wonders with the little time we had left (including driving to a second location). She was willing to work within our budget and she gave us more photos than we expected. I would definitely work with her again and I highly recommend her for couplesphotography.

Ivan was amazing during our City Hall elopement. We had never had a professional photoshoot before but he made us feel at ease and guided us to natural looking poses as we went around San Francisco City Hall to take pictures. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding or couples shoot photographer!

Stavan is an excellent photographer and the end result is just amazing! We worked with Stavan for our wedding ceremony photoshoot at the SF city hall. Stavan was very punctual and came to the location with extra time margin and started taking photos as soon as we met. We are enthralled at the work quality, professionalism and flexibility by Stavan and we have really fallen in love with the candid shots he captured for us. We were very comfortable in the whole process. Stavan is great at suggesting couple and family poses on the spot and has extensive experience in wedding and events photography. We will definitely hire Stavan for our future events. We wish Stavan all the best for his endevours and helping people creating memories for lifetime! Go Stavan :)

I chose Sparks because Tom had so many if not all great reviews. I also looked through his photos and they seemed like professional, quality shots. I spoke with Tom on the phone before booking him, and he seemed thoughtful and professional as well. He told me he would probably be the one to shoot my daughter's Doljanchi (major Korean event to celebrate 1st birthday). A couple of days before, he messaged me and told me one of his photographers, Monet would be coming instead. I started to feel unsure about it, since I had only spoken to Tom about what my expectations were and which shot (s) were most important. I specifically hired a photographer for a single shot of my daughter sitting on a table with all her 'blessings'. This is a costly table that is carefully set-up for this specific portrait photograph. This photo is a photo I was going to send out to friends and family as well as a photo for my daughter to look back on to understand her heritage. I reiterated in email and on phone that this was the shot I needed. I also specifically asked for 'no flash' because the entire space was surrounded by windows and natural light (not knowing the photographers abilities to shoot in this condition). The settings were so off, that every single shot (130+) came our blurry regardless of pixels per inch. There was also not enough exposure so all the white surfaces were dark and gray. Side note: You can not edit a photo to have more light, that was not taken with enough exposure. I am not a pro photographer, but I am also not a novice. Even I know how to shoot in these conditions. If you are a paid photographer that is not familiar with no flash photography or you feel there is not enough light to produce quality shots; it is your job to make the professional decision to use a flash; perhaps with a diffuser.
Not only were the settings on the camera off, the photos were framed so poorly, and I didn't get all of the shots I requested. The one shot I did request, she took ONE single photo of with half the table cut off. It was so bad I cried when I saw it because I was so upset. I cried because my baby will never be one again. I cried because we spent weeks getting all the table objects, some from Korea. I cried because I knew I would never get my squirmy baby in that Hanbok ever again with far away family watching. Lesson learned: I should have spent more time on a photographer or given myself time to do it.
Monet also did not greet me when she came in, I had to walk up to her in the midst of setting up and talking to friends and family who flew in from across the country. She didn't say a single word to me except to ask me what a certain object was. She did not smile once, did not say anything really. Tom clearly did not communicate to her what we had discussed. Knowing now, I would have hired a professional photographer three times the cost, to get the one photo Sparks missed. I do blame myself too, but wanted to communicate that anyone else that decides to choose Sparks - speak DIRECTLY to the photographer coming to your event (not just Tom). What a disaster!!! PS. Tom was very professional in responding to my dissatisfaction and refunded half of the charge. He also offered to re-shoot with everything set-up which was not possible. It was nice of him to offer.

Michael is much more than a pro photographer, he’s someone the world needs more of. Extremely humble, kind, professional, responsive, and generous. He went out to the location we shot my surprise engagement at days in advance and made a whole map with where I should be when. The day of he was there at 5 am, an hour early, waiting for us. He made the whole experience a breeze and eliminated a lot of anxiety with his reassurance. At the end of the shoot he dropped us off at the hotel without letting me pay him a cent more. AND he delivered some jaw dropping pictures a couple of hours later. Worth every dime and more. Thank you Michael!

Michael responded to my request immediately with a clear bid and quote for what he would provide. There were a few changes after I booked his services and he responded immediately and could make adjustments for us and our change of location. The day of the surprise party I checked with Michael and he reassured me he had everything under control. He arrived promptly, set right to work taking pictures in a creative and artistic way and was in the perfect position to capture the surprise on my daughter's face when she got to the party. She had gotten engaged the night before and Michael got many stunning photos of the couple in multiple backdrops. They were so high quality and perfect for engagement announcements.
Thank you Michael for your great work.

Where to begin with Adam and Hanna. Go ahead and hire them. Don't second guess yourself. I wish I could put into words how grateful I am to this couple for making our engagement shoot memorable and actually enjoyable for a reluctant photo shoot groom.
Booking them was easy. And Adam was extremely patient with me as I changed the location the day of the shoot. We live in San Francisco,on the morning of the shoot I realized the fog was in for the day. After emailing Adam in a panic he suggested a beautiful park down in Los Gatos. It was everything I wanted for the pictures and more . Ada and Hannah were very calm, friendly and good fun to be around it actually was very enjoyable.
If our wedding was not A destination wedding I would hire him and Hanna again for my wedding photography. We even received some unedited pics the night of the shoot.they were amazing. He is awesome with the camera. They took their time. Never glanced at the watch and actually went over the time frame we had booked them for.
Excited to see the final pictures.
Adam and Hanna....thank you both so so much.

What a fantastic experience working with Nabor. Here is a list on why I recommend him:
1. Quick email responses. Responds within 24 hours or less.
2. He knows lighting. Our session was at 8am where the sun was at a good location. He was able to take shots without using light reflectors.
3. Professional. He stayed on task and was not rude at all.
4. Personable. Me and my fiance were a little nervous, but we got comfortable with him very fast.
5. Encouraging. He always told us we were doing great, and if he saw something good he would tell us to 'hold it' and then finish it off with 'perfect!'. Made us want to do more.
6. Enthusiastic. He was excited to shoot our pictures just as much as we were. He loves what he does and tells us repeatedly.
7. Flexible. Time was running a little short, but he gave us extra time so we can take pictures at another location across the street.
8. Team player: Did anything to get a good shot! Including sitting/laying down on concrete, laying on grass and get mud all over his pants, getting wet from the beach, and having sand all over his clothes
9. Quick: Took the shots on Saturday morning, and due to free time, got the photos the next day!
10. Quality: Pictures came out great! We were able to download at 5 different resolutions (original, XL, L, M, S). I downloaded the original raw photos, and they look like they are 3D. Post editing was great. So clear and so sharp.
11. Knowledgeable. He knows how to work his camera, his lenses, the setting, etc. Alot of good angles here and there.
12. Affordable. Offers his service at a great price, especially for a couple like us who are in a tight budget.
Things I wish he did:
1. Shoot in burst mode! I feel like some photos would have turned a little bit bitter if he shot it a few seconds later or earlier (I puckered my lips on some of them, or my arm was photographed in a weird position when walking)
2. Continuous shooting. When we were switching locations throughout the whole session, I felt that he missed some moments when me and my fiance were walking, holding hands, arms around each other, or just joking around in a natural state (versus posed). Instead of walking ahead of us. I guess I wanted to feel like a celebrity and have him turn into paparazzi.. haha
But besides that, he took alot of photos and we will be using 4 of them in my Save the Dates. Alot of good photos, it was hard to pick among them.
All in all. A great photographer. Loved working with him, and will be planning to use him in future occasions. Book him!
