Of the several contractors we interviewed with, Philip stood out immediately. He carries two distinctive qualities 1) state of the art kitchen countertop work 2) honesty and genuine kindness. In particular, #2 is hard to find. Many contractors push us around while Philip respects us and never tries to influence ideas.
Philip and his team installed a new kitchen countertop for us, which involved in demolishing the split level, relocating the electricals etc. His work transformed our lives. We now have a much bigger kitchen space, larger sink all thanks to Philip and his team. He also did the bathroom countertop for us, all together took less than TWO weeks. Philip focuses on one job before moving on to the next. He never leaves customers hanging. His famous line is "Talk to me". His communication is superb. We'd recommend Philip and his team to anyone. My wife and I really enjoyed working with Adrian on two of our countertop projects (both at different times). He was not just a normal contractor, he was a contractor who went above and beyond to ensure the final project was exactly what you wanted. My wife was super nitpicking on the completion of the bathroom tiles being a little bit misaligned, and she was somewhat OK with accepting it as is. But Adrian knew she wasn’t 100% satisfied so he offered to come back and ended up breaking a section of the tile to fix it without any hesitation.
He’s so easy to work with, accommodating, personable, easy to talk to (like a new friend you just meet) and will 100% refer him to all of my friends who need help with their projects.

I contacted GADI after reaching out to ~10 places for a quote on quartz countertops in my San Francisco condo. Several of the places I called either did not respond or became non-responsive after I started asking questions. Others showed up ill-prepared, or without a mask 🤦♀️, or submitted a quote in the form of a text with no scope outlined 🙄
This job had some quirks, which I wanted to make sure that potential contractors understood before accepting the job - due to an old elevator, they would need to bring the slabs up the stairs, my HOA required to be listed on the contractor’s insurance, the slabs had to be prefabricated off-site, and there is no parking in front of the building. Of course, on top of this, I wanted it done well and quickly. Other contractors seemed so informal that I doubted whether they would follow through with what they said they would, some even had a backlog that meant my job couldn’t start for 2+ months (but they wanted the deposit immediately). This is when I came across GADI on thumbtack.
I did a little research and decided to reach out to them based on the positive reviews I read. Inon texted me right away in response and set up time for a call the same day to discuss the job. On that call, we set an appointment for a site visit the next day. On the day of my appointment, Nadav (one of their project managers) showed up. He was punctual and stayed probably an hour talking about all the details of the job from plumbing to where I wanted the seams. At the end, he wrote out an estimate which included a statement of work. Later that evening, he sent me an official typed estimate on company letterhead which laid out full scope, cost, and when payments were due (deposit, project open, project close). Though their bid was higher than many I had received, this interaction gave me confidence that #1 - they understood exactly what I needed #2 - they would follow through.
Next was scheduling the job and choosing materials. Nadav was able to set things up for the following week, and even came and picked me up to go choose materials (the vendor was in Hayward and I don’t drive). We chose materials on Monday and his team picked them up that afternoon. They were out the next day to demo my old countertop and take a template for the new (this only took like 30 minutes...seriously). They came back on Wednesday morning & as they were unloading the pre-fabricated counters, I noticed that they were cut incorrectly. I called Nadav & he said no worries, we’re going to fix it and make sure it’s installed exactly as discussed - don’t worry. So they left for the day and came back Friday to finish the job. When they showed up on Friday, they had re-cut the materials and it took about 3 hours to install. About an hour after the countertop installers left, the plumber stopped in and reconnected all the plumbing. So, I confirmed that I wanted them to do the job Sunday evening, chose materials Monday, demo’d Tues, would have installed Wed if there hadn’t been an issue, but still had the job completely wrapped by Friday afternoon. Nadav stayed in touch the whole time and was on-site every day that his subcontractors were to check in on what was going on. I’m very pleased with the result & would definitely hire them again.
I want to make sure and call out that this job was won by Nadav’s level of customer service and professionalism. Not sure if that’s what can be expected across the board at GADI, but if so, then you can’t go wrong hiring them.
