- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have pricing guidelines available on our website at TopRepair.com. In most cases, we can provide you a detailed proposal and an accurate price if you send digital photos and a full description of your problem. If you let us know in advance that you will pay by cash or check instead of credit card, we will give you a 3% discount. We have some discount offers on our website as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like it when our customers provide digital photos of their project, along with a detailed written description. We are always willing to answer questions about countertop repair, and if we are not the best company to assist you, we will try to provide a referral to a specialist who can assist you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner of TopRepair, Jim Heaphy, has over 35 years of experience in the countertop industry, and is a certified Corian fabricator. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco. For many years, he was a part-time instructor teaching courses in fabricating and installing DuPont Corian countertops, conducting training seminars from Hawaii and California to Pennsylvania and Florida. He has completed many industry training sessions over the years.
