I can’t recommend Darren enough! I had been told by an inexperienced structural engineer that a wall in my home was load-bearing, so I reached out to Darren for help with permits. When Darren arrived, he immediately noticed that the wall wasn’t load-bearing at all—something that was obvious but I had simply trusted the previous advice. Darren’s expertise saved me from going through a lengthy and costly process, and he only charged for a simple site visit instead of the full scope we had initially agreed upon. His honesty and professionalism are rare to find, and I appreciate that he was more concerned about doing the right thing rather than making money off unnecessary work.
