UPDATE: I originally gave 5 stars to them, but after I reinspected my ceilings and took off the light fixtures, I found popcorn ceiling. I told them I needed ALL popcorn ceiling removed. I wanted the popcorn ceiling removed from the new home I had purchased before I moved in. They did, however, come back to remove the remaining popcorn ceiling. However, I am decreasing my rating because I don't know if they covered everything while they were removing the popcorn ceiling. As expressed by other people who have asked them to do their popcorn ceiling removal, I found drywall dust all over the top of my refrigerator, floor, windowsills, and many other places. I understand they can't capture everything, but I think that they could have done a better job of covering all areas so that when the popcorn ceiling removal process was being done, I don't have to clean up their mess.

Rodrigo and Alex did a wonderful job removing the popcorn ceiling in my new home and did everything with excellent quality. They provide an excellent and reasonable cost as well for the whole job they did. They removed popcorn ceiling in my living room and kitchen (vaulted ceilings), all three bedrooms and the closets for each bedroom (one of the bedrooms is also vaulted ceilings). They finished all the work in about 4-5 days and you can see the excellent quality of their work. They also helped me redo the ceilings in my kitchen to match the rest of the home (all flat ceilings). I highly recommend them!

Rodrigo did a great job removing our popcorn ceiling and texturing the "new" ceiling. There were a few areas under the popcorn ceiling with crumbling or damaged drywall that Rodrigo fixed (thank you!). Had a great experience working with their team! We had popcorn ceilings in 5 rooms upstairs and got it all removed along with leveling, sanding and repainting with small orange peel texture to match some other areas of the home. The ceilings look great now, and there's no longer any potential risk of asbestos so we are extremely happy to have that all completed. The workers were very friendly and hard working, and we completed the entire project within a week of the initial quote

If you are looking for a responsive, quick contractor, Alpha may be a good choice for you. They completed both popcorn ceiling removal and interior painting in right around a week. They are quick to respond to texts and answer questions. That being said, with the quality of work, there is paint on almost every faceplate for outlets and lights, as well as some paint drips on the carpet and walls we requested they not paint. Luckily for us, we were already planning on replacing the carpet and face plates so we appreciate and prioritized the timeliness.

The guys from Alpha Services are amazing - responsive, honest, and highly skilled. I would happily hire them again for any drywall job. They removed the popcorn ceilings on my upper and lower floors, as well as re-painted some areas and smoothed out some sloppy DIY drywall work (not mine!). They offered a very competitive price and their quality is top notch. They offered to go the extra mile whenever possible (help move furniture, touch up paint where tape removed it). They also did not try to oversell me but actually recommended I hold off from an more expensive add-on until I'm sure. I have been ghosted and ripped off by other contractors, so working with Alpha was a breath of fresh air.

Marcio and his uncle, Amilton quoted me a very competitive price for the removal of about 1,400 sq feet of popcorn ceiling, smooth texture and prime + paint.
They were always very punctual, worked hard and the ceiling at the end was very smooth as shown in the pictures!
They were cool to chat with and had some suggestions for things that needed work around the house that I appreciated as a first time homeowner (even advice on how to do it myself!).
They also cleaned up afterwards and put all the lights back to where they were and even went out of their way to pick up some wire nuts to make sure the reattachment was safe!
They are meticulous with their work and Amilton especially was very proud of the work he did and nitpicked all the details to make sure it came out very well. Pictures are worth a thousand words so take a look at the before and after of the work and see for yourself.
I would highly recommend them!
