I was so happy to have found The Happy Plumber. He responded almost immediately to my post, was clear about what costs I could expect right off the bat, arrived on time, explained the problem to me, let me watch and talked me through the repair, and triple-checked his work to make sure there were no leaks anywhere when he was done. He was really nice, and I felt safe with him in my apartment---something super important to me as a woman living alone. Eldar responded quickly and arranged to handle our plumbing emergency -- a burst 45-year-old outdoor pipe and faucet -- early on a Saturday afternoon. That was a big plus. His solution -- cutting into the lower level bathroom drywall to see whether the new pipe could be joined indoors (it couldn't), replacing the outdoor pipe and faucet handle, replacing the front and back outdoor shutoff valves, and adding shutoff valve drains -- was more work than I had expected, but I am confident that Eldar did a fine job with it. He is a pleasant and gracious person.
