Had my first lesson with Phil and it was awesome. Not only was his energy great, but I could tell right away that he has extensive knowledge and experience playing and teaching guitar. My first lesson was already organized and set up in a way that was super easy for me to follow as a total beginner, and we got right down to business. I feel very confident in Phil's willingness and ability to help get me playing guitar, which is exactly what I was looking for in a teacher. Very much looking to more lessons to come.

For more than 2 years I’ve struggled to find a guitar teacher that knows not just how to play but also how to teach. I’ve found exactly that with Daniel. Daniel is not only an incredible player but an incredible teacher. He’s patient, he doesn’t sit and play something at warp speed and expect you to instantly internalize it and be able to play it back perfectly, his lessons are structured well and build on each other as they should instead of going all over the map, and he’s encouraging. I’ve learned more in 4 lessons with Daniel than I did from multiple lessons with multiple teachers in the few years between when I first picked up a guitar and when I found Daniel. He gives you his contact info so you can reach out to him with questions Monday-Sat and makes a video for you to practice along with at the end of each lesson which is incredibly helpful. Daniel is also extremely punctual which is very important to me. Our lessons are at 5:00 on Saturdays and he calls me on Skype at 5:00 on the dot every time. For the first time in my guitar-learning journey, I truly feel like a guitar player. I highly recommend Daniel to anyone looking to learn guitar.

I took a risk on with their guitar teacher without receiving any testimonials. He failed to show for a scheduled lesson, did not notify me, and did not respond to me outreach. Very poor business. I requested a refund.

I’ve had a great experience working with Derek. He is very patient and great at explaining things about guitar as well as giving analogies with other things and connecting it back to guitar. He created a very easygoing and comfortable atmosphere where it’s ok to make mistakes. He shows a clear passion for what he’s doing and it reflects in his teaching, taking lessons with him are well worth it!

Great service, making huge progress with my guitar playing skills. I found Waldron Guitar Academy through an online search and decided to give it a try. Brian, the owner of WGA, got back to me very quickly and was courteous and professional. We set up a brief intro session where we identified my skill level, and we established goals for what I hope to get out of lessons. He set me up with a teacher who was just right for me. I've been taking classes weekly for just over a month now and been exploring concepts that will help me finally get off of "intermediate island." I would highly recommend this service to anyone who is looking for a convenient but high-quality guitarlesson service.

I found Jim while looking for a guitar instructor for my 13 year old son. My son has been teaching himself to play for a little over a year and has done amazing on his own. I just felt like he had reached a plateau and needed someone with experience to help get him to the next level.
I liked Jim immediately. He’s so positive and extremely encouraging. We talked about my son for a bit and decided he would definitely benefit from some guidance. Jim was able to fit us into his schedule immediately and my son had his first lesson 3 days later.
My son has severe ADHD and it’s also suspected he is on the spectrum. Jim has so much patience and is so engaging, my socially awkward child liked him immediately. This is definitely the exception and not the rule for my kid. Green flag #1. After my sons first lesson, Jim had nothing but words of encouragement and positive affirmations for my kid. He let me know immediately what other tools would help my son and he ALWAYS responds to questions and inquiries in a very timely manner.
We are still new in my sons lessons, but honestly, I have nothing but positive things to say. Jim is a little more costly than some of the other people I contacted, but I absolutely believe you get what you pay for and it’s 100% worth it. I can’t wait to see how far my kid goes with Jim as his teacher.
