Foundation Finishes

We hired Shawn to construct an addition on our home. At first Shawn was responsive and good to work with. However, as the project progressed he was rarely on site which led to many misses with his subcontractors. Walls were not built square, flashing around doors was not installed, electrical for the garage was run out of a rough cut hole in the aluminum fascia. The roof for the addition was built over the sewer exhaust and it wasn't until I caught this miss and repeatedly pointed this out that it was begrudgingly fixed. His subcontractors were complaining about him to us (which was unusual and unprofessional). The worst part was how each time I would point out poor work or blatant errors he would attempt to gaslight me saying "that's how it's done in the industry" or "if you just gave me time I would have caught it" when he was never on site. I've included pictures of a few of the many problems I documented so you know I'm not baselessly complaining about the poor work. It seems like good contractors are hard to come by, unfortunately, Foundation Finishes is not a company I would recommend to anyone.
