I'm a complete beginner, but he's been super easy to learn from and always takes the time to explain things thoroughly and in different ways so you could find what works best for you. He does a great job balancing teaching the basics and techniques while also making time to work on what you want to learn and play. I've improved a lot with his lessons, way more than I would have on my own. I would recommend him if you are looking to learn or improve your skills, especially if you are a beginner, because he can guide you and correct your technique so you don't form bad habits early on. He's super supportive and encourages you to push yourself. At my first lesson I didn't have picks yet so he gave me two to keep which was really kind. Fast forward to 2015: I decide to dust off my guitar, find Primeau Guitar on Yelp, and give it another go. In about the same span of time with Chris, I've improved and learned substantially more than I had previously, but most importantly, I've had a good time doing it. Chris is a great teacher and really good natured guy, and he'll encourage you even while you're completely mangling a song. He tailors your lessons based on your preferences and what you want to get out of playing, which makes me that much more motivated to practice.
