I've been working with Jeff to develop some areas where I struggle with my drumming. I am an older student, and have some habits that I need to correct, as well as learn/relearn some basics, like rudiments.
I really enjoy working with Jeff because he's able to see where my specific issues are and focuses on addressing those issues with exercises and techniques to get me where I need to be. He also understands how to incorporate my style of playing into our lessons and encourages me to try different methods to lock down whatever goal/activity I am working on.
For me, Jeff is by far one of the best instructors I have had over the years. His experience and expertise as a professional drummer and instructor are critical to his ability to guide students to develop into the skilled drummers they want to become. And I can honestly say I really enjoy my classes because they never feel like a chore. This helps me stay focused on my drumming goals and I am very happy with the progress I have seen in my drumming.
