I was looking for a magic/balloon guy for my 1 year old birthday party. I have reached out to multiple entertainers around Plano area. After carefully reading the reviews and check out photos (making sure the entertainers aren’t too creepy or scary looking), Wacky Wally’s profile and pictures stood out so I decided to reach out to him for our event. He messaged me back “My name is Wacky Wally, I’m a children’s entertainer and I have been entertaining kids for over 17 years! I would love to provide my balloon twisting entertainment at your event on Saturday December 9, 2023. My balloon twisting sculptures includes superheroes, animals, swords, holiday balloons and much, much more!”. So I decided to hire him for the event. I checked back with him a week before the event to see if he still had our event on his schedule. He assured me that everything was fine and he would be there.
On the day of our event, he sent another entertainer to our event. No where on his profile or throughout our conversations that he mentioned he has other entertainers working for him. The whole time I thought this was an one man show business. To be honest, his assistant is quite looking scary and had made 2 little kids cried because they were terrified! Not only that, he kept calling my baby OLIVIA multiple times…”happy birthday OLIVIA” which is not her name! It felt quite uncomfortable.
I reached out to Wacky Wally. He said “I apologize that I did not discuss that with you in the beginning. I do have a few other entertainers that work for me throughout the year especially during the holiday season as it gets pretty busy. So I’m very sorry about that but I hope you and everyone else enjoyed the magic show and balloon twisting entertainment”. I then replied back with my concern and frustration. Haven’t heard back from him so I’m reaching out to Thumbstack at the moment and they are going to help me solve out this false advertising from Wacky Wally!
Btw, if he was busy on the day of our event since it’s holiday season, he could’ve said so and I would be fine looking for another entertainer.
I’m very disappointed with this service and will never hire this Wacky Wally again! I have attached a picture of his assistant that he sent to my event!

I had the pleasure of working with Darryl for my baby's first birthday, and I was absolutely delighted with the experience. We hosted a party with 35 kids, and they all had a fantastic time. Darryl was punctual, responsive to phone chats, and provided great service at a very reasonable price. The kids were thoroughly entertained with his amazing magic tricks and impressive balloon-twisting skills. He kept the energy high and made sure everyone was engaged and having fun. I highly recommend Darryl for any event that needs a touch of magic and entertainment. He truly made our party memorable!

Ritchy is an absolute professional and a master at his craft. He was on time and was a major hit at my husband’s birthday party. Although we had the added challenge of entertaining adults AND children under the age of 7 at the same time, it was not a problem for Ritchy. He kept all ages hooked onto his show! I recommend him 100%!!

Dr. Squeak was great with the kids at our baby birthday party. He came early to prepare and did a awesome job with the balloons! The kids were every entertained! His partner the face painter cancelled the last minute but he was able to find a replacement in time for the party, which we really appreciated. We will definitely hire Dr. Squeak again for future events.

Wacky Wally performed his magic show at my 5 year girls birthday party and he absolutely was worth it. Keeping a 5-year old's attention for that long (and the 10-15 rambunctious children that attended) is a true art form, because they were glued to him the whole time. The parents that attended were also entertained and told me I changed the birthday party dynamic going forward and asked for Wally's card at the end of the night. Great job Wally.
