FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do jobs of all sizes. I don't like to turn a job down just because it is small. I do however charge a minimum of 2 hours. My customers know that they can add anything else into that two hours to get their money's worth. I charge by the hour for simple tasks like assembly or moving furniture. I charge by the job for more skilled work or larger renovations and remodels.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask a lot of questions. I know that can be a bit annoying but I also know that it is important to be thorough. I communicate price, a plan of action, a target day to start and to finish, and also try to get a feel of what the customers expectations are. I more than anything want to aim to please the customer and put them at ease with the project because I know these things can sometimes be stressful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have shadowed multiple master builders since I graduated high school. I have worked in nearly every field to learn as much as possible about home building and remodeling. I have been trained in framing, trim carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tile and flooring, drywall, painting, texture, siding, masonry, and much more.
