He is extremely knowledgeable, a very patient, positive, and encouraging teacher, and makes lessons/ homework so much fun that it makes you want to really put in the effort to keep leveling up. Sometimes learning the basics of anything can get a bit dull, but Walker makes sure that he is tailoring lessons to your musical tastes and aspirations. Ive come so far in just a year and change and have experienced so much enrichment in my life because of it! Walker is insanely talented in his own right which makes learning from him especially motivating with the hope of one day being even a fraction as proficient and creative as he. In about the same span of time with Chris, I've improved and learned substantially more than I had previously, but most importantly, I've had a good time doing it. Chris is a great teacher and really good natured guy, and he'll encourage you even while you're completely mangling a song. He tailors your lessons based on your preferences and what you want to get out of playing, which makes me that much more motivated to practice.
