I really like working with Dennis ! He's a great teacher and a very good guitar player. He's helping me reach my goals with playing the guitar! He also acknowledges that mastering the guitar will take persistance and time. He's very patient, very friendly, and will always ask for feedback during the lesson to know if I'm happy with the lesson.

Excellent first lesson with Dennis. I played guitar for many years and then drifted away from it. Dennis had a well constructed written lesson plan that was perfectly suited for my reimmersion - a blend of theory and practice. Anyone considering working with Dennis should know that he is an outstanding player and teacher. If you are a beginner, a returning player, or an advanced player, Dennis has the skill set to help you improve and reach your goals.

Dennis is the best guitar teacher you will find who really knows how teach you how to play guitar, not just showing you licks or only songs you want to learn. First he provides you a workbook he has put together that gives you a reference for the fundamentals of technique, basic guitar theory, and most importantly, how and what to practice. As a teacher he meets you where you are in terms of skill level and what you’re interested in learning. He allows you to learn at your own pace. The lessons are always fun and productive. They often go a bit overtime since Dennis is personable and seems to really enjoy getting to know his students. He also sometimes provides you videos recapping your lesson or backing tracks to practice with. I have recommended him to everyone I know who is interested in really learning how to play and develop their skills, and I highly recommend him to anyone reading this review.

Dennis has been an excellent teacher. He is clearly knowledgable about guitar playing and is an effective teacher for my learning style. My lessons have been fun as well as educational covering both necessary fundementals and fun stuff!
He is very personal and welcoming. I take my lessons in his lovely home and am always made to feel comfortable. He has been very accomodating and understanding when I have had scheduling issues and he makes prompt return contact. I would recommend him as a teacher.
