He didnt mind coming out to provide a free estimate before demolition and framing were complete. He was able to work off of my rudimentary architectural drawing to provide a very competitive quote. Once framing was done and it was time for the rough-in electrical work, scheduling with him was very easy. He included smoke detectors (something I had overlooked in the original design plan) for free and also helped clean up the sloppy junction box placement and wiring from the previous electrician. Drywall work delayed the project by a bit, but Dominic was understanding and flexible. Once drywall was done, he got the fixtures, outlets, and switches installed quickly and correctly. Everything looks great and I have had no problems with his work (which I could not say of the last electrician I worked with for a different project). He maintained great communication throughout this multi-step, multi-day process. But the best part is that now I have a reliable, professional electrician that I can call in the future for any other electrical work I may need. No more screening pros on Angies List/Home Advisor and reading through other peoples reviews and making a bunch of phone calls to schedule multiple estimates.
