I have been a student of Alex for a couple of months. Alex’s method of teaching was very different than my previous teacher and began challenging my current skills from the moment we started. I began improving more than I had in months within the first week of working with Alex. I started out with a basic knowledge of jazz, but each lesson has added immensely to my overall understanding.
My family was originally hoping to find someone local that could give in person lessons, but we decided to try online lessons with Alex anyway. I can confidently say that online lessons with Alex are better than any local in person lesson I’ve ever had. Online lessons are convenient and just as easy to learn from. Communication has never been a problem and he has always been super flexible when a time doesn’t work.
Alex is extremely supportive of my growth and truly cares about my journey as a musician and as a person. He pushes me with every lesson all while encouraging what I already have accomplished. His experience and passion for playing is obvious and plays into each lesson.
