Don’t hire him. Hire a pro. I hired him for a commercial property to unclog a drain. He took a long time and worked very slowly. I saw him on his phone multiple times. The last time I saw that he wasn’t working in the bathroom. I found him in the parking lot on his phone. I had to ask where he was. He responded that he had to go rent a tool. He should’ve had all of the required tools before starting the job or just said he couldn’t do it instead of wasting both of our times. He had to go rent a drain snake since his wasn’t powerful enough. The process of renting a tool was added to the billed time. I am unsure how I am required to pay for the tools and his time to go rent it when most plumbers have it on them. I had to dismiss him because at this point he was just wasting time. He didn’t even clean up properly. He left the sewer uncovered and someone almost fell in. He has a lot of good reviews so I’m not sure why my experience was so terrible. He charges $50 for the trip + $80/hr. He cannot estimate how long a job will take. Hire a pro. Don’t hire him.
