- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices will be on a per customer, per event basis. We do have a "rush order" fee. For weddings and private events between 25-75 people, there is a $500.00 rush charge if services are requested and contracted (1) month or less before the event date. For weddings and private events over 75 people, there is a $1000.00 rush charge if services are requested and contracted (1) month or less before the event date. For weddings and private events under 25 people, there is a $200.00 rush charge if services are requested and contracted (1) month or less before the date of the event. If services are requested and contracted (1) week or less before the event date, a rush charge of $500.00 will be added to the total.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I need to know what the client wants. I will ask a series of questions in order to determine what the best course of action. I will also need to know allergies, dietary restrictions and anything else along that vein. The next step is determining what other services may be necessary. I will work up a proposal and send it. Once the client has accepted the proposal, a contract and invoice will be sent with all relevant information.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University and I have worked as a private chef for 5 years and in catering for 3 years. I have the ServSafe Food Manager certification as well as all relevant allergy certifications.
