Andrew replaced a damaged and flawed strip of flooring near my windows that remodelers left behind. He was very easy to communicate with and receptive to any questions I had throughout the process. I’m very pleased with the end results and will contact him again for any future flooring needs or concerns!

Andrew was very responsive and provided a fair quote. We had Andrew demo and refloor our ~1140 square foot home with LVP, including removing carpet from some rooms and awful laminate from some other rooms. It wasn't necessarily clear in the quote, or conversation that this was a single person operation. I also didn't ask, and made an assumption as every other quote we received was a team of people, this isn't a positive or negative, but I think impacts speed and potentially organization of the job. Overall, we love the floors. They are a huge upgrade and are done well, except for some small areas. It took a little longer than expected, but that isn't a huge issue or entirely his fault, of course the snow storm managed to hit as the work started to get underway, which stalled things. Andrew was very flexible with the fact that we weren't able to entirely move all items just given the constraints of living in the home. The actual installation quality is very good for the most part. It is clear the attention to detail he put in some of the areas, but it is also strange some of the areas he just missed entirely. Pictured are some of the areas he just missed or forgot, including a kickplate underneath one of the kitchen cabinets and one a piece of the moulding from the surrounding area. There were some organizational components of a similar vein, finding multiple drill bits on window sills. As Andrew was cleaning up on the final work day, I had to point out that he had left one vent for our heat uncut to the proper size, and as I was examining another room I found that there was a new vent hole in the floor that had not been there before. While the hole wasn't made by Andrew, it would have made sense for him to let us know it had been uncovered, as we were home -- at least let us figure out what to do with it. This created an additional cost as Andrew had cut the flooring around the hole without a conversation. Another area that is pictured below is our closet/crawl space. Andrew had come to me to let me know he was unsure what to do with this space. So the closet remained carpeted, as we didn't want to have it be a "learning experience". We figured, this could be something we could do some research into in the future to attempt to fix. Unfortunately, the board leading into the closet is cut so it will be much harder to fix, and the carpet is cut unevenly. It looks pretty bad, fortunately it is in the closet and hidden from view I guess. The final two organizational things are the trash left on site, which is pictured. Some of it is not a big deal a couple of boxes we can fit in the recycling. The other is 8 foot long cylinders that don't fit in anything, which will be annoying to take care of. Lastly, we ordered an extra box of flooring, which is on top of the 15% extra he told us to and he ended up using every last board. Which, again, isn't necessarily positive or negative, but was an organizational thing that makes me question whether he ever had a plan to floor the closet space? If he was that far off on the estimate, and we had to order more boards, it could have taken another 3-6 weeks. Overall, if the job was smaller I think everything would have worked out much better. The big picture things were done phenomenally, but the little things really were detractors.

Had a "bespoke" (i.e. difficult / tricky) hardwood floor repair, and Andrew did it well. He was always punctual, professional, and the quality of the work was terrific. Will contact him again when it's time for us to explore new hardwood floors, too.

Andrew hits the trifecta of being meticulous, having integrity, and being fair-priced. We sensed that about him when we met him and that’s why we hired him. He did not disappoint! Thank you for your excellent work Andrew, and for your flexibility around our tight schedule.
