Otis is an amazing music teacher. I have been taking remote banjo lessons from Otis for over a year now! Otis is knowledgeable, patient, fun, flexible, and kind. I have grown so much as a banjo student over the past year - when I started taking lessons from him I didn't even know how to read music! He approaches music lessons from a holistic perspective; I've not only learned how to read music and play both bluegrass and clawhammer banjo, but I've improved as a singer as well. (I even had my first gig this summer!) Otis is super encouraging and I am looking forward to another year of lessons.
