I reached out to I AM ILLUSTRATIONS for a project in which I needed several illustrations for my children’s book. Erika handles most of the client coordination and back and forth, and she does not disappoint. I was unable to speak on the phone due to medical issues, which can be very limiting, but I still received effective and easy communications over messaging. When I learned that Erika and Jeremy run this business for a living it made a lot of sense. They really know their stuff, Jeremy has a beautiful art style, and though I did not end up using their illustration services I still felt the need to leave a review because of the level of care I received up to the point I decided to go another direction. Telling nice, talented people “no” for zero personal reason or dislike is not a talent of mine, and I don’t like to make people feel disappointed or irritated even if it is “just business.” The response I received was beautifully professional and understanding. This has not always been the case with other responders even though I try to be kind and respectful each time I decline a service. I respect the way they chose to respond. If I had to offer any constructive criticism, it would be that I would have liked to communicate more with Jeremy about the art and revisions, but that’s really just a personal preference. The experience I had with them was a positive one, and it is highly likely, dear reader, that yours will be too. Good luck

Working with Karine was the best decision I could have made for my children’s book, “Nugget the Mouse and Doctor Pockets: A Tale of Friendship.”
Initially, I cast a wide net when searching for the artist that best fit this this project, and the moment I saw the sample of how she would create the character Nugget on the page- I knew she was the person I wanted onboard. I certainly was not disappointed for choosing to work with US Illustrations. If anyone reading this is looking for their project’s right fit too, Karine is a person to seriously consider reaching out to.
I have nothing but praises to sing of her work and my experiences collaborating with her. She is very kind, patient, and pleasant. She is easy to work with and I had fun during the process while simultaneously learning a great deal. The honor was truly mine in meeting and interacting with her, and I consider myself lucky to have done so.

She had the answers to my many questions, and I could not have asked for a better guide to navigate me through my first experience of creating a complete, unique and polished, publishable book.
