Eric installed two blinds for me today in our living room and did a fantastic job. He was on time, his price was fair and his work pristine. He really knows what he is doing and he is the nicest guy as well. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. He's coming back to install some shades in our bedroom as soon as I order them.

John was excellent! Firstly, he was extremely professional and honest. The job was much more than expected (the blinds did not fit well that I had bought) and yet he attempted to measure, cut and fit the blinds to my window, not lying to me about how it would end up looking. He was able to get the blinds cut and hung and even went out and bought another piece for my window that I needed. Moreover, I ended up hiring him and his company to do the rest of my windows! The shades match perfectly, are expertly hung and look wonderful. He customized the blinds for my apartment (in terms of color and darkness) and came to hang them about 2 weeks after I placed the order. John even took into account my young son and made sure the cord for my shades was cut and hung on the inside of the window where my son cannot reach them. Additionally, I had his company hem two curtains that I had bought and install them in my sons room. One of Johns guys, Stretch, did them and they are incredible. They look awesome and he took no time to do it! He even installed the tiebacks for me as well. Thank you so much John!

Let me start of by saying how professional and courteous this company is,
John is a master at the craft of Shades, Blinds, Drapery, know this business inside out - more than the majority of the uppity shade stores in Manhattan, he is full of tips knowledge and advice.
He arrived on time (earlier even) in my culture that’s a huge sign of respect, when you value other peoples time and that’s one of Johns core values Respect to his Clients and Potential Clients.
Unfortunately we choose not to go with Speedy Windows products, but we will be contacting them for installation.
And know that we can reach out to them for help with any future project as well, we are glad to have met John and hope that if you are in the market for any type of window dressings or installation that you to will reach out to this phenomenal company!

After being quoted very high prices by many NYC drapery installers, I called NY Blind and Shade store and they gave me a great price, and were here the next day first thing, and had everything installed flawlessly! Usually when you look for a drapery installer, you're going to just be getting a handyman who also happens to install drapes too. That was the problem I found with most of the people that I reached out to. What I liked was that this company specializes in window treatments. Jose has 20 years of experience, his team is great, and there was no cutting corners. I have very high windows so anything installed poorly would be a safety issue with drapes and rods falling from that height. (Potentially breaking windows, breaking things on the counter, etc.) From the moment they walked in and I saw their tools, and I saw their understanding of the project, I felt very at ease. Thank you, Jose and your team for doing an excellent job.
