I have taken several guitar lessons with Tim and I have really enjoyed them. Tim is an excellent teacher and does a great job keeping the lessons interesting and fun. I would recommend Tim Marco as a guitar teacher, I give 5 out of 5 stars.

Met Jeff a few days ago for my first lesson. I’ve tried a couple of other instructors and this was my best experience so far. He goes over the basics of a song with you, while you’re playing the guitar. He then plays the lesson while you’re recording him. The next day I played the video while practicing and it was a huge help. I would recommend him to anyone trying to learn the guitar.

I usually do not leave many reviews at all, as a matter of fact I can't think of the last review I wrote. What I'd like to share with you potential students is this---sign up with Jeff! He's that good!
One of Jeff's attributes that makes him an awesome guitar teacher is his ability to pinpoint what you do well, and not so well. From there he build's a customized plan of progressive learning. I've found out it is analogous to building blocks, building one skill on top of another. When he did this with me, I was improving and learning more about guitar. In other words I was having fun learning guitar and practicing guitar.
Another attribute that makes Jeff a special kind of teacher is his patience. As beginners, it is important that our mistakes be pointed out, but done so kindly, not harshly. Jeff is terrific at doing just that!
He moves at your individual pace, and really cares that you understand why you are doing something one way, as compared to another. He is a professional in every sense of the word.

For not having picked up my guitar for years, and never really getting the hang of it, Jeff has been able to make me feel comfortable learning again. I’ve had 2 lessons and feel like I’ll finally be able to get the hang of it.

I just started my lessons with Jeff and I’m already having a blast! At nearly 50 years old, learning to play guitar has been on my “bucket list” for many decades. Jeff is patient, encouraging, kind, addresses all of my questions, and is a wonderful teacher. At only my second lesson he was starting me on songs I know and recognize while giving me exercises to make sure my technique is developing as I go. A true “old school artist” and also a gentleman, I would recommend Jeff to ANYONE who wants to learn!

I’ve always wanted to learn guitar, I would guess most of us who seek guitar lessons do… Lol. However, given my lifestyle. I would consider myself a fairly busy individual. Interestingly enough Jeff’s strategy has proven to work effectively with my lifestyle. I’ll admit I am not the best student, but somehow I’ve memorized where certain chords, etc are, All without “trying.”
Sidenote: You probably don’t want to start with the 12 string like I did. It is what it is

I’ve taken guitar lessons from different people in 7 different states that I’ve lived in over the years, and I can honestly say that Jeff is the best that I’ve had. He knows everything there is to know about music and theory and he is a great teacher. He actually listened to me and what I wanted to learn and he gave me lessons on and taught me about exactly what I asked him to do. Musically and theoretically he is great, but he’s also a real cool guy too, great personality and fun to be around and learn from. And anyone who has taken lessons before knows that having a cool teacher that you can vibe with means almost as much as what you’re being taught. At 61, I decided to finally make the commitment to learn the guitar. Jeff could not have been more patient and understanding! They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but Jeff is certainly making this old dog believe it's possible! He designed a specialized program built around the type of music I was interested in learning; not the generic one-size-fits-all lessons I was expecting. I appreciate his professionalism, and he even allowed me to video a recap of the lessons for review (I would not have remembered everything we covered otherwise). I have been taking guitar lessons at Jeff's for three months and it has been a wonderful experience thanks to Jeff's professionalism and amicable personality.
I contacted Jeff as a beginner without an instrument. It was very patient of Jeff that he spent the time to understand my needs over the phone, gathered a list of guitars from different sources that fits my budget, and gave neutral perspective on the choices presented to assist my decision-making.
When I finally met Jeff in person for the first time, I was anxious because of the new environment, not knowing Jeff well, and not knowing a thing about music, but he managed to calm my nerves by having engaging small talks about my background and stuff that I feel most familiar.
Everything was new and difficult for me in the beginning, but with Jeff's helpful tips and attentive attitude along the way to make sure I learn what I need to play smoothly, I feel a sense of accomplishment when I look back.
