Introduction

We are a multipurpose studio catering to the serious musician who wishes to become proficient at music,performance and,other aspects if musical aspiration. In the over five decades of teaching music,we have had Dave Sabo of Skid Row ,and Jeffrey Wielandt,better known as Zakke Wylde of Ozzy Osbourne as students.Including, two Grammy Nominees students,as well as a student who is now a session guitarist.We have had numerous performers as well as many college scholarships for music to students who have shown great promise.The instruction is,guitar,banjo,violin,cello,bass,sax both alto and tenor,oboe,clarinet,trumpet,piano,mandolin,songwriting,theory,composition,film scoring,as well as band and rock performance.The lessons on all popular instruments are laid back and informative.Students learn the genre of music they wish and, learn to play along with the music.Theory, songwriting,pedagogy are all part of the training.You will love it here.The average student stays,at least two to three years and some, have started in first grade,staying until high school graduation.Be a part of our success and start your musical career on an upward note. ********In conclusion,please read the structure of this service.If your out of area,you will need to do lessons on line as we do NOT travel.Please do not contact unless you are able to come in person to our Free hold studio,or do lessons on line.This will save much time for both of us.

I always learn so much from my lessons at Raritan Bay Music School. My teacher is great at helping me review scales and music theory. He also understands that it's difficult to practice frequently since I'm in college. I would highly recommend him to other aspiring students!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are priced at the same price for all lessons.The lessons are 120$ for the month,no matter what instrument.There are four lessons a month.If there is a fifth day or week in the month,we give you off to have time to practice the months work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Interview the student as to the musical preference, desires, goals,and, direction.We want to wrap the lessons around what the student wants to learn.Getting the student focused and directed to exactly what they wish to accomplish is a major factor in starting lessons.
