Susan was nice but I wouldn't recommend her as the photographer for your wedding day. Quality of the photos were really good and her videographer, Paul, was outstanding. We loved the video we received. But one of the main issues I had were that Susan never got a picture of my husband or I with either one of our grandmothers, which broke my heart. I filled out the checklist of who we wanted photo with and had an in-depth phone call with Susan about the details and timing. She never told me to make sure they were in a specific place at a specific time, and didn't get a single shot of us with either of them during the reception. That responsibility is on me too, but as the bride, I trusted her to tell me who was left on the list before the event ended. I also specifically asked if I needed to map out locations for photos or prep backup locations due to weather, and she said no because she was familiar with the area. When the day came, she asked me where I wanted to go for pictures and asked my bridesmaids as well, so one of my bridesmaids ended picked the only location outside we took shots at (which was extremely sunny and my husband is squinting in a lot of photos). She also didn't return my bouquet to the box after taking photos of it, and instead placed it on one of the hotel bedroom nightstands, so we had a panicking search for it for quite some time. She also didn't know which person my husband was for the first 10 minutes of photo taking of the boys, and didn't make sure they had their boutonnieres, etc. beforehand. Again, photos came out very well quality and Susan was very nice, but all the little issues added up and were very frustrating during an already anxiety-ridden day that you spend so much time trying to make perfect.
