Where do I begin? To say that Lee captured exactly what I wanted would be an understatement! I told him what kind of photos I wanted.....those moments no one sees....action photos that captured the love amongst us at my event......and he delivered exactly that. There were some still photos, too, that were equally outstanding! His professionalism, value, and punctuality were most certainly appreciated. Book Lee now.....you most certainly won't regret it!!!!

I spoke with another photographer from Thumbtack, and she was from Delaware and her price for the
party with no prints was $400.00. When I spoke with James, and we had a full-blown conversation on
how special and important this party was. We discussed the overlay photos for all guest to receive right
on the spot as a party favor and 10 prints for the mother. I contacted him on the April 11, thanking him
for capturing the party. On April 12th we received the digital photos from James now stating that the
mother could pick 25 photos for print. I asked was he mailing the picture favors and he asked that I
send the pictures that I wanted with the overlay. On April 13th, I sent him 29 photos that I wanted to
have the overlay on to send to the guest, I also stated that the mother was still looking to narrow down
the 25 prints for herself. I now understand the communication was misunderstood, but he never even
attempted to send the 29 photos.
I sent a message to him through Thumbtack asking about the pictures and never heard anything. At that
point I thought I had no recourse of anything. Then I received an email from Thumbtack about a review.
Once I made a dispute about the service, I received then I heard from James. James called me and we
discussed the event about what happened and didn’t happen. James was very apologetic. At this point I
wanted the overlay pictures as we have previously discussed and then I asked what it would cost to have
the album just prints printed. I waited for a response and nothing. So, I sent another text asking again.
I received and email stating he was checking pricing because he has never done an album before. At this
point I was tired and at the end of my rope. Here it is 30 days after the event, and I do not have what
was promised to me. I contacted CVS and had all the prints printed for at first was $98, but then turned
out to be $87.00 total.
I was so excited that I paid more than the required deposit on March 23 of $300.00 and before I even
met James or his team, I paid the remaining balance of $300.00 on April 6. Only to be contacted by
James to state that he had another engagement that day but would be at the party late to do the
overlay photos. When James arrived at the party the party was basically over, and the guest had already
started leaving.
As I explained to James yesterday that if I knew he was already booked somewhere else, I would have
chosen another photographer. I told everybody about this photographer that I found on Thumbtack and
what we discussed for the party and as of this day, I have NOTHING to show. I am very disappointed.
