************** - check out my updated site! :) Nice to meet you - I’m Joey Rushfield! I am a 25-year-old portrait photographer from Rockville, MD. Note: thumbtack charges for leads, so please read below & ensure we’re a great fit before reaching out 😁 I have done photography for clients since 2017, and I have no intention of slowing down! Portrait photography is my specialty, but I also love photographing weddings and mitzvahs, all with a fast turnaround time, about half the length of industry standards. My style tends to be fairly moody and cinematic, so if that’s your jam, we’re a perfect match. I hold degrees in Elementary Education and Digital Photography, currently in pursuit of my Master’s in Art Education. Outside of taking pictures, I am a teacher (and former camp photographer) with professional experience working with children from the ages of 3 through 17. As you can imagine, this comes in handy for portraits of children and family photos! If you’d like studio portraits, I have a small home studio, suited for solo portraits and headshots, but for couple and family portraits, we’d be working on location with gorgeous scenery as our backdrop.
