Dylan Vitali Alfredo was exceptional in all aspects. He helped us with a backed up drain that was causing us many headaches. He was super responsive, friendly and professional. Elise Rosenthal Alfredo has been so helpful being available for whatever projects I need him for. I manage a large facility (an old house, rather) that often needs repairs or updates. He never turns down a project and is always very responsive. I cannot recommend him enough! Laura Broding Alfredo was able to quickly assist with a water spout replacement. The spout was rusted into socket but he was able to get it out- thankfully with no damage to the inner pipes. Plus he got rid of the rust. JT Kelly I have been working with Alfredo for a while now, I manage 60+ units in and around Boston. He is extremely responsive and reliable and can get more or less anything done. Very grateful for how much he has helped me. Brian Hanna Alfredo and his brother helped with a couple projects in my kitchen. They were great to work with and I plan to use him again for some other projects soon! Julia Broding Alfredo did grout repair and caulking job for my shower and it looks perfect now. He also unclogged the drain for my bathroom sink and quickly fixed the bathroom sink stopper which is now draining better than ever. I highly recommend him. Ryan Moore Alfredo to install 2 storm doors and a floodlight. He was very professional and did a great job. I’m planning on using him for many more projects, highly recommend! Careful with this company. Alfredo seems to the main person and stay away to avoid him sending invoices. He suggests he provides free estimates and shows up. Once his schedules doesn’t allow to perform an urgent leak, he wants us to pay for a service call. In my case, I had a leak to fix. Although his quotes are high, I asked him to come the next day to fix it. He was busy and I found someone else to fix it. Because of him not doing the work, he sends an invoice for $75 for an apparent service fee; which was never discussed. If this argument needs to hold true, someone can provide a high estimate and quote. If we find someone cheaper and can perform the work quicker, we need to pay the service fee - although no such service fee was agreed upon in writing or verbally. As a compromise, I requested his service for another leak fix. He says he is busy and do it in Spring. Can you imagine that someone waiting for months to fix a leak? Stay away!! —— Emails —— Good morning Abraham. Unfortunately it is not possible to drop and leave what I’m doing now. I adere to my schedule with extreme importance and respect for my time and clients. We would need an appointment for that and that cannot be untill later this spring, because scheduling conflicts. I’m truly sorry to hear about your disappointment. Allow me to clarify the sequence of events: On January 9th, I was contacted by Mr. Abraham Pucheril via Thumbtack. He asked me to visit a job site in Westford, MA, which is 1 hour and 5 minutes away from my location. I made the trip to assess the project and provide an accurate estimate. Later that same day, Mr. Pucheril accepted the estimate, agreed to the proposed price, and confirmed a start date of January 11th. This agreement is documented in a text message. On the morning of January 11th, I called Mr. Pucheril to confirm the appointment. However, he informed me that he had hired someone else, claiming he hadn’t heard back from me. While I understand the need to explore other options, this situation seemed more like an attempt to find a cheaper alternative. There’s nothing wrong with that, but what I found particularly frustrating and disrespectful was that Mr. Pucheril never took the time to notify me of the cancellation. To avoid situations like this, we’ve implemented a $75 service fee wich can be waved if hired. This fee isn’t about the money—it’s about valuing the time and effort of professionals like myself and discouraging some customers from taking advantage of our time and good nature. My past reviews reflect that I am respectful, cordial, and professional. However, I also believe in setting boundaries to ensure fairness for everyone involved. Sincerely, Alfredo

I have been in the repair and home improvement work since 1975 with my family. I also went to trade school at the the Deimler Benz Berufsschule inside the Mercedes Benz plant near where we grew up in Nagold Germany. My father had a car repair shop in Germany, my mother owned an Italian specialty food ⁵store and later a restaurant in Baden Würtenberg. I learned car repair as early as the age of 8 years and I started welding and recreating pieces of car carrosserie at the age of 11. I learned a lot about cars and about electrical systems of cars and homes electrical by the age of 15. I would work in our car shop and later also with my mother's business as sales assistant and buyer. I ran my own Italian specialty store until, we moved back to Italy in 1984.
