The tech arrived on time and ready to get to work. The ceiling was already open, so he had full access immediately.
He dismantled the pipe 90-elbow and showed me where the ORIGINAL (60+ years old) galvanized elbow had developed a pinhole that had obviously been leaking slowly over a long time.
It’s now drip-free and hidden away again with the repaired ceiling Sheetrock.

Pros: immediate contact and quick turnaround for a service appointment. The technician provided the diagnosis and service promptly. Cons: The technician established high expectations by sharing that he was a master plumber. But the problem wasn't fixed, and on the day of the follow-up, I didn't receive a call, text, nor appearance. Despite the misdiagnosis of the repair, I received an overcharge, and the problem persists. At this point, I'd like to obtain a fraction of my money back since I must find someone else to resolve the issue.
