My pilot on my 10 year old water heater would not stay lit. I called this company to come have a look at it. I asked for a thermocouple replacement. They came in my home and did not even attempt to try and start my water heater or even identify a problem. They just began taking pictures of aged parts of my tank and instantly told me I had an old water heater and needed a new one. I knew my thermocouple was damaged and they said they would charge $1,900 to repair it which wouldn't be worth it. So instead they suggested buying a new water heater and sent me a quote for over $2,700. I've never even seen a gas water heater for that price. Even if that quote included installation and labor, that's well over $1,500. I called another company and they did the repair for $250 and my water heater is now working fine. I felt like I had salesmen in my house rather than someone trying to fix my problem. I didn't put 1 star because I don't believe this company is full of scammers, and I'm sure they do quality installation work, however this was my experience with them.

Our water heater was acting up. Our appointment was at 4 pm. Our tech arrived at 3:30!! He was able to get us a new water heater and get it installed by 7 pm. These guys don’t work on commission, so I trusted him when he said it was time to replace. Explained everything he was going to do. Couldn’t have asked for better service!

Ed provided prompt responses on correspondence, very accommodating with and worked thru scheduling times with me and provided assistance with my questions on purchasing the water heater. Try offering information about the service that was requested instead of asking the potential client to pay you a non-refundable $29 deposit before you will provide a quote or explain why you should be chosen for the job (why would I hire a company called TubMaster to install a water heater?). Maybe you are the best water heater installer in the city but your company name certainly doesn’t reflect that and I would
NEVER pay you 29 non-refundable dollars for you to “sell” me on your services. Ridiculous! There is no way I would use or recommend this vendor.

I hired Dennis to first look at an old tankless water heater. Once we realized it couldn’t be salvaged, Nelson installed a brand new one. It was quite the demanding job, but he was upfront about everything. Great work and a better guy. I will definitely hire him again!

My only complaint is that I was promised an expansion tank and there was not space for it. No one let me know until the work was completed so I did wonder whether the cost should have been adjusted.

Vincent was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and worked with my schedule to install the water heater before we left for vacation. He even gave me a small hose to use for maintenance. He was prompt and always returned my messages.
