The two men that came by were on time and extremely friendly and helpful. Once the job was complete they called the owner Sidney Chism II to provide payment information. Sidney was extremely chauvinistic and rude. He tried to get over on me by charging $250 to snake one drain. When I spoke with him his tone was very aggressive and he tried to charge me for the service call that he told me was free via email. He also tried to charge me for the guys turning on my garbage disposal which you have to do to test it’s working (and it was). I told the guys the disposal needed to be reset (I even told them where the button was. This was something I could have done for them, but I was verifying the electrical breaker was on.) Sidney abrasively debated me about the charge (although he wasn’t here) and he tried to add a service charge for the guys coming out. After informing him of the interaction and that there was nothing done by his guys to the disposal (his guys told him that also) he reluctantly took the charge down to $125 which is around the average price that I researched for the task. I am more than certain if I was a man I would not have been treated or talked to the way Sidney spoke to me. Due to Sidney’s antagonistic behavior I will not recommend Aqua Restoration to anyone and I will not work with Sidney again. Oh! And he called and texted to apologize, so that proves his behavior was unwarranted. UPDATE: after this review was posted Sidney called again. I thought he was calling to apologize verbally so I called him back. He yelled at me, talked over me and said my review was not accurate. My review is my experience with him and, as he was told, the way he yelled at me on this call proved my point. He has a very bad temper which is very unprofessional.

I would like to comment on the great responsiveness and professionalism of Sidney and team during my plumbing project. Within no time of me posting my request for a plumber, I had a message from Aqua Restoration and they were able to get on the job right away. Everything was clearly outlined and the work was done efficiently. I would not hesitate to re-book them in the future or to recommend this company to others.

I ended up having to seek out another contractor because Aqua Restoration told me at the last minute that they had "scheduling issues" which pushed my appointment back another day. I told them, 'one of the most disrespectful things you can do to someone is to waste their time'. I felt disrespected, and the time they wasted, was time I could have had a more dedicated and skilled contractor address my plumbing concerns. Don't let these guys be your first choice. Maybe use them as the absolute LAST resort. Even then, have a few backups ready. This would have been my first time hiring Aqua Restoration. The problem with first impressions is that you only get one.
