I loved my experience with Jumara! I saw her profile on Thumbtack and thought she would be perfect to take my partner’s and my engagement photos. She was so accommodating; I changed my mind on the location a couple days before the planned engagement and she was happy to make the change. She was fun to work with; my partner and I were laughing and talking the whole time. And the photos turned out stunningly! If you're looking for professional photos for your special occasion, Enrico is the best! My fiance and I enjoyed working with him on our engagement photos. He helped us pick a beautiful location, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and we loved how our photos turned out. He's also very affordable. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

He also went above and beyond agreeing to hide himself for a candid photo to catch my fiancées raw emotion of initially seeing me propose. Sarah was an excellent photographer and so wonderful to work with! She was very professional -- communicated well and was very flexible about weather contingencies that we had looming over our shoot. She made the process of engagement photos very fun - we played music and incorporated our pup into many pictures. Rachel took surprise engagement photos for me and my fiancé and we could not be happier! The photos are absolutely stunning and she captured the emotion of the moment so well. She was great in communicating with me beforehand so that I knew when and where she would be to snap the actual moment. Working with Mikhaela was amazing and such a pleasant experience. We have never done a photo shoot before but my fiance and I just loved our time with Mikhaela. She was very easy going and flexible. She had great pose ideas and made sure that she captured us in the best lighting and enviroment possible. I was nervous as I wanted our engagment photos to be perfect, but once we started working with Mikhaela, I knew they were going to turn out better than I ever expected. We took engagement photo with Diego. We talked with him via phone call, text, email a lot before the shooting. He suggested a lot of different concepts of photos and we choose piedmont park. He set up the time for us to have both day view and night view. He knows well various points in piedmont park.
During the shooting, he tried to make us comfortable and be relaxed. We took about 3 hours for our photoshoot and he was very passionate during the shooting. He never said "ok good enough" easily. He wanted the perfect shoot and he made it. After 2 weeks, we could get proof version of photos and we selected some of them to be editied.
He responses very well and never ignore our opinion.

Jumara did an incredible job with a last-minute session for our Engagement. She was so receptive to things like timing, location, and ideas and I absolutely loved working with her. This was by far the worst experience I've had hiring someone for a job on this app, and it was strictly because of Charles Anderson with A.S. Studios being late and not following directions.
They were hired to shoot for my engagement (my one and only) and not only did the photographer show up late, he had no idea where to be. He had ample time through text messages to figure out where and/or look at the map which I clearly drew where to be and described where to shoot from. The only responses I got prior to the shoot was okay thanks. I even sent him a picture of me and my now fiance with the outfits we were wearing and he still seemed to get lost and not able to identify us. I had a scheduled engagement for 4:15, at 4:13 I got a frantic call that he was not in position and he was rude on the phone after I explained to him that he needed to be there because we had people waiting for us to include my and her parents and our friends. This resulted in the surprise almost being ruined because I had this conversation in front of my now fiance, and had to pretty much direct him into position which he did not follow. To top it off he was incredibly rude on the phone, didnt get the photos in the desired angle, or even get photos of the two of us for a traditional shoot.
The only plus side about this was that he gave me my money back on request. If it had not been for my friends and family actually caring to be on time, and take photos with their phones then we would have had no way to cherish this moment thanks to Charles Anderson with A.S. Studios.

Diego has excellent skills with taking pictures however, his customer service is extremely low. My fiancé and I made an agreement with him before booking and he happily agreed until he received his funds. We paid him his fee + 20% tip (without even seeing the photos) given we had an excellent session but after the shoot everything went downhill.
1. He took 2 weeks to even show us proofs (he promised to get them back within 2-3 days). We had to basically track him just to get them.
2. After receiving the proofs, he took 2 additional weeks to give the "edited" photos.
3. He went back on his word when promising the initial agreement before we even met. We had to talk to him several times to get him to follow through on his word.
4. When we received the "edited" photos they were not edited but were sent back in a black and white format. We never asked for black and white copies.
5. After he received our funds, he became impossible to get in contact with. He stopped answering calls, took days to reply back to messages and even ignored our email with the complaint regarding his "edited" photos given hence the reason for this elaborated review.
We were extremely disappointed with his customer service. He was the prefect candidate until we paid him. Once we paid him, we were no longer a priority to him. This is never a way to handle a client with sensitive material as engagement photos.
If you work with Diego and need your pictures in a timely manner I'd suggest working out a deal to pay the deposit only until you receive the photos. We didn't because he trusted he customer service/work ethics would match his skills/work ethics.

I would like to share my experience working with Cardell, I hired him for Engagement Photoshoot. This was my fist experience with a photoshoot of any kind, i was a little nervous at the beginning and had a lot of questions about how will it go and how should I do this? Cardell was calm and understanding, This photoshoot was a surprise for my fiancé and I proposed her in middle of the photoshoot. Everything went well as per planning.
Cardell captured amazing pictures and quality of pictures were also amazing. He gave us ideas how to pose and pictures looked like more candid. We loved every single picture which he shared.
Value - Price what I paid for this photoshoot was affordable compared to other pros on Thumback.
Work quality - Work quality was incredible, Shared pictures on google drive, I had a small request for him to wear a mask all the time during Photoshoot and he respected my request and wore a mask all the time. He was flexible and considerate about my requests.
Professionalism - He is very professional, he gave us a heads up in the beginning that it will take 7 days turnaround time for picture to be edited and shared with us and he provided it a day before with all the editing and everything.
Responsiveness - He responded to all the messages of mine promptly .
Punctuality - He was on time and even we had a 2 virtual meetings before the shoot to discuss the project, He was never late and was good with his followups as well.
I would recommend Cardell Rosser to any kind of photoshoot he is a great photographer who can do a great job.
